Judi Kelly Cleary, ADC, ALFA, CDP, CADDCT, is the founder of Senior Sage Consulting, where she provides essential senior living consulting services and stands as a respected dementia consultant in dementia care education and staff development. With over 35 years of experience that spans luxury lifestyle design and multi-site administrative leadership, she offers senior living professionals a unique blend of frontline expertise and executive-level insights, particularly in Activity Director training.
Judi's career began in 1988 as an Activity Assistant in long-term care, leading her to achieve certification as an Activity Director. Over 15 years, she implemented programs across various settings, including independent living, assisted living, nursing care, and memory care. With 16 years as a Licensed Assisted Living Administrator, she developed premium memory care platforms, mentored administrators-in-training, and established award-winning, state-recognized best practices. Today, she leverages her extensive background to deliver specialized consulting services, compliance guidance, and dementia training for professionals in the senior living industry.
Senior Living Training by Senior Sage Consulting
Judi officially launched her independent practice in 2020 as Cleary’s Consulting LLC, which is now rebranding as Senior Sage Consulting. Throughout her tenure, she has trained over 175 students in her Virginia DSS-approved 40-hour activity director training course, offered various training programs focused on dementia care for seniors, and precepted several Administrator-in-Training professionals. As a seasoned dementia consultant, she has significantly contributed to the field.
